Other fixtures for the night included Wigan Athletic v Fulham, West Ham United v Everton and Hull City v Stoke.<br /><br />Chelsea v Manchester United (1-0)<br /><br />An entertaining match at Stamford Bridge saw Chelsea eventually triumph 1-0 through a glancing shot from club captain John Terry off a Frank Lampard free-kick in the 76th minute. The match was a tense affair where Manchester United dominated possession, although it was Chelsea who had the better of the scoring opportunities, missing several clear-cut chances in and around the 6 yard box in both halves.
